“Well my first league since blunts away due to missus on maternity pay and being skint. amazingly disappointed saw there line up and thought we would win but we were shocking. WIth not going to any of last 9 can not comment on performances. But today was terrible no shape, could not handle constant long ball. Negative tactics and passes. To be fair we played better in 0-1 away win. We have a spell betwen 5 – 15 mins where we dominated ball but that was it”
“We have a team building in progress. We are not yet the finished article and this shows in some of the games, particularly today. If we got in the playoffs and got promotion, do you think this team could survive the Championship . I do not think so and we would be back to the moaning and groaning . I think same could be said of the Blunts too. So the excitement is good but I would think another year building a really good team and then go for it. There will be some players going out and some coming in, could be an interesting close season”

Their young lad down the west stand side with the plain flag had probably the most effective game I’ve seen by an opposition player this season.

I think I can see what he was trying to do, he was trying to control the game by packing midfield but it didn’t work at all and backfired massively, much worse than he probably anticipated.
And last but not least, the officials… We were shocking, yes, I’ll give you that, but to not even card a Sheff Utd player when he has more or less deliberately pushed a Barnsley player in the face? There were too many completely stupid decisions (or lack of decisions in some areas) to mention here but that one stands out as it effectively lead to the first goal.
Fair play to Sheff Utd, we got it tactically wrong, they capitalized on that and it could have honestly been an embarrassing scoreline of 3 to 4 nil today. To be fair your fans seem to find an opposition player almost losing his life after receiving an elbow by one of your players amusing so I’m hardly likely to feel like some circus freak because you blunts find my rant amusing .
