“On the evidence of his last two years it is hardly a signing that justifies the claim of a signing that will excite fans.I appreciate that we can send him back but it does seem a a paradox that we seek to cover a long term injury with aplayer who now seems to be persistently injured.
How long has it been since he last played two or three consecutive competitive games? Could it be some weeks before he is match fit”

“He immediately showed his class with some good tackles and passes out from the deep midfield role he adopted. The question is do we have the players who can capitalize on the quality he brings to the team?”

“When James Wallace came on you got a real glimpse of what he might offer if he stays fit. Strong, powerful in the challenge, he regained control of a battle I felt we were losing in that area of the field”

“I thought he looked really good when he came on last night making at least one very meaty but fair tackle. He got a good reception from our supporters and it was great at the end of the game when he came over to the fans with Andy Mangan who held Wallace’s arm aloft in a salute to the fans!”

“At least if he gets crocked we can send him back to Sheffield It’s.
If he does offer something good we might be able to extend the loan or make the move permanent.
Good bit of business there.”

“if he shows he is ok I think Sheffield Utd would take him back ,time will tell”

“At least when he gets injured again he can go back.
It’s a shame for the lad, but I guess this is the last chance saloon for him!”
