After Tarkowski left he looked like he’d get a run in the team, but it quickly became apparent that our style required at least one ball playing CB, and seeing as Barbet is a left-sider it was J’OC that had to make way. Add to that Bjelland coming back and I think the writing was on the wall. Still wouldn’t be surprised to see him develop into a good Championship or even Premier League centre half though so I hope that if he does go we have a hefty sell-on clause.”
