Such a stylist and strong midfielder. But especially the range of his passing. Leather ball and mud. But he would be able to strike the ball as a long range pass practically from one corner to another diagonally
.Pinpoint accuracy and effortless. I was gobsmacked . And not just high in the air and coming down near vertical.. it was like an arrow whizzing in a low trajectory. Absolutely unbelievable. Still remember to this day.
Next nearest to that I remember seeing was Glenn Hoddle at the Vetch. Very similar long range passing skills. Wonderful to watch.
