“Up until the 60th minute I thought we actually looked alright.
Looked like there was a fight to our game.
After that it just crumbled away and they started to feel sorry for themselves again.
We could have got something out of that game Sheffield really weren’t that good.”

“it was pretty even up until the first goal, in the first half in particular they were no better than us.”

“Defended well, looked level with Sheff Utd all game, just 2 absolute crackers from Kieffer (no shock)”

“The only difference between the 2 sides today in my view was Kieffer”

“2 quality goals. Some Cardiff fans didnt want him. Beggars belief.”

“One of the best strikers in the league”

“£4m buys you a decent striker
The reason why we are bottom of the table and Sheff Utd are top is down to one thing…..
VT not willing to spend money on a striker.”

“The only reason apart from
Better quality players
Subs who would walk into our first team.
A proper manager
A club without a fruitcake of an owner.”

“if we had one of the better strikers in the entire division we’d be a comfortable mid-table team at worst”

“A battling performance from the Bluebirds but sadly the difference was our former player, the mercenary Keiffer Moore…

Good signs overall though and we can take heart from a performance llike this”

“Don’t understand why you would call Moore a mercenary. He gave us a good season with 20 goals and the following season, he got understandably frustrated with our owners reluctance to strengthen the team.

We were starting to drag Moore down and I had no problem with him moving to Bournemouth to test himself in the Premier League. Any other good, ambitious player would have done the same.
Today shouldn’t surprise anyone. We had a good striker, but our owner and wonderful transfer committee thought it would be best to cash in and try (and fail) to replace him cheaply.”

“I didn’t expect anything from this game but was surprised at half time we were still in it. Perhaps a game where we can take some positives from it like perhaps the board will listen about us going on about getting striker.”

“Personally, I don’t think we can take anything away from that performance.
We never looked close to scoring again during the full 90 mins!”

“We parked the bus, showed zero ambition and yet still lost 2-0 at home. Under no circumstances can that be considered a good performance.”

“it was a lot better than QPR and Preston, but ww still lost and never really looked like scoring.”

“We just weren’t interested in taking the game to them. They didn’t look all that. I’m not saying we would have scored as we don’t look like it, but how about having a go?”

“Sheffield knew just keep it tight and they’d fcuk up as their Manager hasn’t a clue and they play the “right way” so will make braindead mistakes.

Any normal old school manager not inflicted by the Pep virus would have us mid-table. I reckon Warnock would even get a tune out of Kanga.
It looked like a pub team during the last 20 mins, it was play anywhere time and your name is John Smith if you are booked.”

“Mistake ridden defenders. Zero pace. Awful goalkeepers. It wasn’t that good was it. No clear cut chances. Just a solid shape about us when Sheffield United were in 2nd gear..”

“Exactly as expected. Comfortable Win for Sheff.”

“Santa deniers must be fuming, spotted at least 100 of him in the Sheffield United away end”
