“How confident out of 100% are you of promotion?
Myself I’m at 75% ,hopefully 100% Monday night!”

“I’ll start counting chickens if we are 3-0 up in the 95th minute of 95”

“i’m nervous! last thing we want is sheffield winning!”

“Pretty confident even if we lose on Monday it’s still in our own hands with many on here thinking it wasn’t possible only a couple of months ago and go back to August people were even saying we were going down”

“Only a few weeks back, I’d have definitely settled going into this game being 3 points behind Sheff Utd at least knowing a win would have it in our own hands going into the final two games. So going into this not just ahead of them, but five points clear is more than we could have hoped for, we’ve earned it though with the relentlessness of this run – 30 unbeaten is incredible.”

“Monday is by far our best shot. If it doesn’t happen Monday it could all get very messy! It needs putting to bed before that happens. Not confident.”

“This game will define our season, nervous? Yes”

“I think we are a better team than Sheff Utd as we showed in the away game & in recent weeks. So for that reason, along with being 30 games unbeaten, plus Parker’s experience in these big games, and having the Turf’s full support, I struggle to see us losing. But, a football match is 90 minutes where many variables can occur (especially with Sheff U having several players capable of individual moments), so definitely not overly confident either!”

“Just hoping we can put a performance in for the full 90 minutes.
As for confidence, I’m neither full of it nor, fearing the worst.
But on our game, we’re better than them.”

“One dodgy pen or red card on Monday leading to a Sheffield win and we’re right back in it with pressure on.
Our biggest threat now is complacency. Sheffield will go in to the game absolutely up for it and if we’re complacent or off our levels we’ll get turned over.
It’s a cup final for them. A draw is no good so they’ll throw the kitchen sink at us. I think that may favour us actually, but you never know on the day.”

“I think the fact that Sheffield Utd need to win will ultimately play into our hands as there’s going to be space to exploit going forward”

“Sheffield United have no choice but to do that. They’re not good enough to beat us though so we’ll turn them over like every other team that’s has give it a go.”

“I’ve not been that impressed with Sheffield recently. They seem to have got worse to me than when we played them at theirs”

“To be honest, they have more to worry about than we do.

That away performance against them showed how good we are.
We have been consistent and calm up to and since then. Nothing will change.
Relax, enjoy the game and the occasion. We are going up”

“They won’t have enough of the ball for us to worry.”

“I think the interesting final choice is probably on the right wing, which is the direct match up with Harrison Burrows. Burrows and Hamer typically play on the left for Sheffield United, with Hamer allowed to come narrow into pockets because Burrows bombs on and also helps stretch the game so Hamer can find space. We can expect Burrows to do that every chance on Monday and we saw yesterday that tracking those runs isn’t Edwards’ strength (although I do think he’s been more influential in the past few games then he’s getting credit for, and works harder than some perceive).”

“I know we’re the home team, but I’d seriously consider doing an old fashioned man for man job on Hamer, possibly Laurent.
He literally makes them tick, he’s their version of Man United’s Bruno, everything goes through him.
But, he’s’s also got a highly petulant side and if we do mark him out of the game he’s likely to do something stupid out of frustration. I genuinely think if we keep him out of the game we’ll be in the Premier League come Monday night..”

“Wouldn’t mind him if we went up though. Very good player.”

“He’s a quality player, exactly what we don’t have, we would walk into our first 11.”

“He ain’t that good.”

“He’s a fat little pig. Nothing to worry about at all”

“This same little tubby bloke who played in their 2-0 defeat on Boxing Day
Think they should be the ones worrying”

“I love how many slim fantastic footballers we have posting on this board !!
Hamer has had a great season – he’d walk into our team.”

“Not the only worry for me though…. BBD is an absolute handful at this level.”
