“We cant buy a win…down it goes to the last game.
We’ve had some good followings at their place down the years.”
“I think Rovers will lose this to set up a nervy final day. Brammall Lane is an unhappy hunting ground”
“I’ve been to Bramhall Lane many times, I have only seen us win here once and that’s back in 1994! Must have been about 10 further times since then witnessing drubbings, cup heartbreaks and STILL have that Khadra penalty miss etched in my brain
It’s probably best i stay away. Our record here is really poor, a few draws over the years though, might be the best we can hope for. It’s sods law that they’ve seemingly hit a bit of form as well”
“been a good few times but the last time I remember winning was when Andy Kennedy and Simon Garner netted, awful ground for us.”
“realistically a point is probably the best we can hope for against a Sheff U side coming off the back of a good win.
Watch out for Bamford. he likes playing against Rovers”
“It would be even more annoying than normal if we then went out and parked the bus trying for the draw.”
“Sheffield United looked very effective at Vicarage Road and they have the physical power to disrupt us. They were far easier winners at Ewood than the score suggested in the reverse fixture.”
“Blackburn Rovers
Midweek
Away
Against the likes of Hamer, Brooks, O’Hare.
No idea how anyone is predicting anything other than 0 points “
“Don’t forget the inevitable goal from Danny Ings”
“It would be easier to predict a win if we ever look remotely capable of scoring.
Lose again I’m afraid.”
“Again?
We’ve lost 1 in 7.”
“Is a fair point on our embarrassing inability to score mind. We’ve only scored more than one goal once in our last twelve games. Fortunately our defence has generally been able to stop many going in at our end.”
“we’ve hardly ever been hammered but we haven’t remotely looked like hammering anybody either.”
“Sheffield United have lost more games than every team apart from Wednesday. I know a lot of those were at the start of the season but they are beatable. If we win it then we take a lot of stress off the last game and pile pressure on the other teams around us.”
“I think we should be as robust and rough with these as the ref allows in the first 15,I know they had a good win last time out but coming closer to their summer holidays and they have nothing to play for we can’t let them settle passing it around, get stuck into them and a few of them may not fancy it”
“I looked at Sheff’s form. They were losing to Hull before Lundstram was sent off, then had a penalty too. Shades of us at Millwall with that result. Then they beat a Watford team who I think are THE team to play at the moment. Gracia left 1st Feb and since then they’ve won 3 in 13. That game last week must have been like a training session.
I’m not saying it’s an easy game, they’ve got decent players and a good manager. But I think the crowd will be pretty passive and their players must be desperate for the season to end. If we can’t come out with far more aggression and energy than them then something is desperately wrong.
Rovers make things hard work and I doubt we’ll score two, so I think a 1-1 draw will drag us all nervously to the final game of the season. “
“if we play like we did against Coventry, for the last 2 matches, we’ve every chance of staying up.”
“Honestly I fancy us winning. I’d tale a point t and go all out v Leicester give them 500 tickets”
“I think this is the night we finally win at Bramhall Lane after many years.”
