“Thought we were by far the better team although 1st half wasn’t up to much with neither side really threatening. Second half was much better with the tempo alot higher n pas & move much much better. Definitely bossed the second half n such a shame Will couldn’t make it 3-0. Wee bit nervy towards the end due to the pen miss n how we let them back in at our place. Away support was yet again many & loud.”
“First half was pretty poor quality from both teams, although we still managed to look comfortable even then, but what a performance we put on in the second 45. Absolutely, completely and utterly bossed it. First half showed the frustration that can come with our style of play when we lack the cutting edge end product, but the second half showed the Caldwell way in all it’s glory. Beautiful, exciting stuff – the more the half went on, the more we thrived on bringing United out of their comfort zone and causing panic on the counter.
Also, thoroughly enjoy my first visit to Bramall Lane. We were right up in the clouds, 3rd from back row, but great view and a great atmosphere”“a relatively comfortable victory as Sheff Utd didn’t really trouble us. Brilliant away day and really good atmosphere once again. “

“There are some good ales but what I think attracts is that they are served in some real quality old style pubs, good in number, lots of good natured relaxed atmosphere, plenty of choice on offer being served which makes all the difference in my humble opinion.”
