“Overriding feeling waking up this morning is one of total pride. Deserved to win that. The normal Forest of the 2000’s lose that game every time, not Stevie Coopers Forest. The two post march interviews are brilliant and sum up why I’ll back this team to the hilt no matter the result.”

“That was epic – I stand by what I said earlier the best Forest teams since the 80s and 90s – just a quality striker short really”

“Absolutely immense performance. Deserved more but will take the point”

“Im simply delighted we were better than a top six side at their place and we got a late late equaliser. Both of those things should give our lads loads of confidence and might knock Sheff Utds.”

“That’ll hurt Sheffield United. A good sign for us going forward.”

“We deserved a point there, Blades were a strong….. sorry dirty team and we should have been out of sight if we’d taken our chances.”

“Don’t know why Sheff Utd looked upset.
They robbed a point”.

“I get what it takes to be a life long fan, granted that was only a draw but it did feel like vindication for watching the last 10 years of relative shite the clubs dished up.
Thought the performance was a joy from start to finish. On the ball we looked cohesive & dangerous throughout, off it, we seem to be developing a knack off pickpocketing posession at will, the team is starting to look totally in sync, just at the right time. By rights we should have taken the points, I reckon without Gibbs White we’d have strolled that game.
Take our chances consistently & play offs are a formality.”

“Best away performance of the season bar Johnsons insane penalty. Anything less than a point would have robbery but we’re lacking that finisher.”

“The least we deserved. Play like that for the rest of the season and we’ll finish top 6”

“We didn’t make many clear chances from our first half dominance, and Garner’s corners were mainly not quite good enough. In fact, our corners created some of their best attacks as they broke quickly.
We’ve shown great spirit to rescue a point, as we did against Stoke, but we shouldn’t have been behind in either game”

“Sheff U handed us possession in dangerous areas at least half a dozen times in the first half alone. Spence, Johnson, Davis and Zinks all made bad choices or suffered from poor execution. Need to get better.”

“We didn’t deserve to lose. It wasn’t good enough though.”

“2 points dropped on that performance but we are still in the mix”

“Love the fighting spirit but it’s 2 points dropped (then again, 2 taken off Sheff Utd I suppose).”

“I have to say, it was a very entertaining match”

“I’m a fan of Billy Sharp but glad to see him unhappy. What a game, should have won but didn’t lose. Huge result..”

“Loved seeing Sharp’s face on the bench after he took the piss time wasting coming off the pitch, only for us to score in the last seconds of added time. What a beautiful sight. Ryan Yates epitomises this team and the spirit they play with.”

“I think Billy Sharp deserves credit for multi tasking because not only was he playing for Sheffield he was also refereeing the game for them”

“Sharp dives more than Brennan Johnson and moans plenty too.”

“I applauded Sharp in the 82nd minute as he actually managed to stay on his feet when challenged by a Forest player. It was the first time in the game.”

“Sharp goes down easy but so does Johnson, Yates , Colback etc , I don’t have a problem with it , Sharp is a class striker who I hold a special place in my heart for, Let’s not forget that emotional game for us that he played , A moment that makes him a legend in my eyes .
Took his goal excellently.”

“Aye, can’t help but love Billy Sharp”.

“Was there really 29k there?
Made up attendance.”

“Lots of empty seats in all stands and the tier above forest fans was deserted.
Forest end was packed though.”

“Looking at the Sheffield Forum and it is a good one to be fair. One point made about Forest “they came to play and no shithousery”. Great credit to the manager and players is that, from an opposing supporter”

  1. Just to put things in context. We had five first picks out. And to be honest I think we d have won with them all in. But Forest were easily the best team we ve had at the Lane this season . If you carry on playing like that I would nt like to meet you it the play off s.

  2. There on loan player from aston villa no 9 made it misery for our defence. Overall they were the better team apart from a fair bit of diving and the ref was falling for it. I think a draw was a fair result.
